YOU KNOW THAT I COULD USE SOMEBODY
* someone like you, someone like you
AND ALL YOU KNOW, AND HOW YOU SPEAK

Johnny headed out the front doors of the Baxter building. Regardless of what Sue said, he enjoyed the publicity and attention that came with being a very public hero. He was easily bored and having been unable to find Ben upstairs there was nothing to do but watch tv. Johnny was much more of a hands on person. He loved the thrills, adventure and danger of exploring the concrete jungle. He'd decided to walk. When he flew all of his clothing, with the exception of his molecular uniform, disintegrated into a small pile of ash. That was one drawback compared to how many perks? He rarely complained about it. The rare times he did, it was because of the brand or designer or status the clothing gave him.
When he was out and about, he always loved to draw attention to himself. His clothing was usually trendy and sometimes colorful. Today he'd opted for a monochromatic, dark outfit. The reason for it was that it was tight and form fitted. It gave him a formidable, yet hot look that he thoroughly approved of. He continued on his way with no particular destination in mind. He wanted to see where he ended up rather than plan it out. Reed analyzed and planned things enough for everyone so why should he do it? As he headed down the sidewalk, a rather attractive woman bumped into him. She made her apologies and hurried off.
Instinct told him to check his pockets to make sure everything was there. It was. In fact he had been reverse pick-pocketed and found the girl's phone number on a piece of pink paper that said 'call me'. Oh, he'd call her alright. He smirked to himself and folded the piece of paper back up and put it away safely. He hadn't been clubbing in a while, maybe he'd take her to one. He decided to worry about the details later. He went a short way further and decided to head indoors. Not because of the winter chill as he rarely got cold, but to see if there was anyone interesting to hang with or mischief to make.
It was larger on the inside than it appeared on the outside. He didn't get to come to places like this a lot because Sue wanted him to keep a low profile. He broke that rule whenever he could, but he couldn't avoid her all the time. He lived with her and she seemed to have Johnny radar.
