PIETRODJANGOMAXIMOFF
Name: Pietro Django Maximoff
Nickname(s): Quicksilver
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Birthday: April 22
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Job:
Powers: Pietro’s entire body and mind are adapted to a life on fast forward. His muscles, skin and bones are tougher than that of regular humans to withstand the pressure of running several hundreds of miles per hour, and his eyes are protected from high velocity winds. The chemical processes in Pietro’s muscles are advanced in such a way that Pietro does not suffer from fatigue. He cannot sustain his maximum speed indefinitely though, after about four hours Pietro either needs to slow down or rest. To fuel his power, Pietro’s body metabolizes 95% of all caloric energy.
Pietro’s reflexes and reaction time are several times quicker than those of regular humans, and his brain processes information at five times the speed of a college graduate, enabling him to perceive his surroundings while moving around at incredible speeds. An adverse side-effect of Pietro's mutant ability is that he observes the world around him as moving remarkably slower than himself. This annoys him to no end. He often tries to restrain himself and adjust to the pace of others, which has proven to be both challenging and exasperating.
Able to run at supersonic speeds of up to Mach 5 and resist the effects of friction, reduced oxygen, and kinetic impact while moving at super-speeds. The speed allows him to perform feats such as create cyclone-strength winds; run up walls and cross bodies of water. Exposure to Terrigen Mist made his powers temporal and he is now able to displace himself out of mainstream time and space and "jump" into the future.
He can summon several time-displaced duplicates of himself and appear to teleport by "jumping" into the future and then returning to the present at a new location. Occasionally he can empower former mutants with extreme versions of their superhuman abilities, though doing so is nearly fatal to both he and the subject.

Weaknesses: Wanda, his ego, his father

Personality:He's a self-centered, quasi-albino neat-freak with an ego the size of Europe. Pietro thinks pretty highly of himself. He doesn’t consider himself arrogant, which does nothing to boost his modesty. As far as Pietro is concerned, the world revolves around him above all things. This superior attitude is partially a result of Pietro’s mutant abilities. Pietro himself thinks he moves fast, in comparison everyone else is just so slow. In his eyes faster equals better. Since everyone else is slower… well, you do the math.
Pietro thinks he’s entitled to boss people around, despite not being a good natural leader. Despite prior alliances with Mystique and Magneto, Pietro has no real sense of loyalty towards anyone. He’s either been abandoned, disappointed, hurt or betrayed by everyone he’s been close to in the past, so he’s not too hot for it anymore. He’s very loyal towards himself though. If there’s any remote sense of loyalty, it’s towards his sister Wanda. His relationship with his father is tentative at best. Pietro having betrayed each of the previously mentioned at one point in time, with the sole exception of Wanda says enough about his loyalty, really. Pietro is competitive. He likes to play games and sports, and he’s in it to win. He loathes losing at anything he does. Playing cards, playing basketball, fighting the X-Nerds: you name it, he wants to be the best at it.
Family: Erik Lensherr, Wanda Maximoff (Twin), Lorna Dane, Riley Dane
Pets: None
History: Pietro and his twin sister, Wanda, were raised by Django and Marya Maximoff, a gypsy couple. As adolescents, Pietro and his sister Wanda discovered that they had peculiar talents. When Django began to steal food to feed his starving family, enraged villagers attacked the gypsy camp. Using his phenomenal speed, Pietro fled from the camp with his sister. The next few years, Wanda and Pietro wandered central Europe, living off the land. One day, Wanda accidentally caused a house to burst into flames with her uncontrollable hex powers, and the pair was chased by superstitious townspeople. Despite Pietro's attempt to defend her, the twins were soon overpowered and were rescued by Magneto.
Magneto decided to take the twins to the land of opportunities, the United States of America, so they could all have a fresh start together. Neither twin was very happy with this development. Pietro adjusted quickly, loving the Western world and everything (Television! Video games! Sports!) it offered. Magneto grew increasingly annoyed at Pietro’s rebellious behaviour and attitude and decided he couldn’t handle his son anymore. Pietro sulked about his father’s abandonment for about an hour, pretty long in Pietro-time, before deciding he could take care of himself.
Unwilling but believing he owned him a debt, he became a member of Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants as Quicksilver. For months, he served in the Brotherhood, coming into conflict with the X-Men. When the extraterrestrial Stranger transported Magneto from Earth, he left the Brotherhood. He learned the Avengers were seeking new members, and Quicksilver has it in mind to discuss that with Wanda.
Role Play Sample: Dean had finally gotten back to the motel room. He'd been out having a few drinks, but nothing had really caught his interest. The only relatively attractive woman in the bar was already married. It was one of the downfalls of staying in such a small town. The upside of it was that he'd managed to hustle some guy out of a hundred dollars. If nothing else, it would pay for gas and a few necessities. He unlocked the door, only to find that Sam was gone. He wasn't sure where he'd gone off to this time.
He was about to take off his jacket and hop onto the bed when he spotted a note. It was from Sam. Apparently he had gotten bored and had gone out for something to eat. The magic fingers would have to wait for another time. He headed back out the door and locked it behind him. He didn't want any maids in there snooping around and alerting the police if she found anything that could be construed as suspicious. He got back into his impala, as he didn't feel like walking, and turned the key.
He didn't have to drive very far before he arrived at the diner the note said Sam would be at. It didn't take him long to spot him. It figured he'd have his laptop and his nose buried in a newspaper. Sam was nothing if not predictable. He made his way to the booth and slid into the seat across from Sam. "Find anything worth looking into, Sammy?" Research was his brother's forte`. If he didn't find anything, they would just move on to the next town.
Dean picked up a menu and started looking at it. He wasn't all that hungry, but the smell coming from the kitchen was enough to make him want to order something. "I wonder if they have any pie?" He didn't see any sign of a waitress yet so he would just have to wait until she showed up. He'd noticed his brother had been acting a bit strange since he'd come back from the dead, but decided to leave the issue alone for now and concentrate on a potential hunt. He waited to hear his brother's response.
