Three years after the war for the cure the world seems to have returned back to normal. Well, as normal as the world can be with the existence of mutants. The cure has proven only temporarily effective, all mutants who have been given the cure are finally back to their full power, weather they like it or not.
Through scientific efforts an exact copy of Jean Grey has been made, right down to her last memory before she turned into The Phoenix. With non stop training, and daily psychiatric help she was able to bring back the loved ones the Phoenix so heartlessly killed, returning Charles Xavier to the head of the school for the gifted.
Magneto has been killed in an effort to protect the public from his ever growing acts of violence. The Mutant had turned into a terrorist, and it had to be stopped. This left Mystique in charge of The Brotherhood.
However, The Brotherhood is no longer that big of a threat compaired to what's out there now...It has been revieled that the one who brought Jean back was none other then Sinister, who has kidnapped both her and Scott, with who knows what's in store for them. The Brotherhood and Xmen have teamed up under the same roof to unite against the threat to the world from Sinister and his army of mutant followers.
