Personality: He is rough around the edges, gruff, short spoken, and thinks little before speaking. He doesn't so much adhere to rules or common etiquette, and lives and operates via his own methods. As long as the job is done, he will be satisfied no matter the obstacle he has had to cross, or how he has had to cross them. Where once he had been one of the most social people around, friendly, outgoing, and flirtatious... these words no longer describe him. He has been known to fly off the handle and unleash Hell on earth to get what he wants.
Yet, there's something about him that draws people to him. people actually want to serve him. His army is vast, yet it is loyal. Each and every one would die for him. Perhaps it is a natural instinct to seek out a leader, or perhaps he has a certain dark charm about him. No one is sure as the only ones who have gotten that close have either been assimilated into the inner circle or have been killed.
He can be cruel, cold and heartless and enjoys causing pain. He is very devious and will act caring and sincere to your face while he is planning something sinister against you or biding his time until his plan goes into effect. He is wild, and untamed; nonconformist to the ways of man. He can also be very persuasive, especially with females, as he will flirt his pants off just to get you to trust him. He likes to have a good time; Just don’t get too comfortable with him, he tends to bite.
Family: Lord Kinross (Great Grandfather}, Moira Kinross MacTaggert (Grandmother), Jean Grey (Grandmother), Scott Summers (Grandfather), Joseph MacTaggert (Grandfather), Rachel Summers, MacTaggert (Mother), Kevin MacTaggert (Father), Dream (Twin Sister)

History: In an alternate future when mutant-hunting Sentinels devastated the world and interned many of the world's mutants and super-humans, Kevin MacTaggert, a powerful mutant and son of Dr. Moira MacTaggert, had married Rachel Summers, a powerful mutant in her own right and daughter of Cyclops and Phoenix of the X-Men. The product of their union were the phenomenally powerful mutants Dream and Hyperstorm. He ultimately grew up to use his great power to take over the world he lived in, calling himself Hyperstorm. Eventually, he went on to conquer all the inhabited worlds of the explored space of his world, becoming a feared despot and heartless monster.
Having been told of the exploits of his ancestors, Hyperstorm developed an elaborate plot to toy with them, without their knowledge of him. His plan was discovered by Reed Richards. Nevertheless, Hyperstorm knew of the plan and allowed it to continue. Hyperstorm even rescued the villainous Tomorrow Man from being lost in the time-stream and set him to attack the Four, which would eventually lead to the team's alliance with their former enemy von Doom. In his most ambitious move, Hyperstorm snatched Mister Fantastic and his archenemy, Doctor Doom, from the moment of their deaths after a battle with an unknown alien entity, imprisoning Doom and exiling Mister Fantastic to a time period without technology. Thinking that Mister Fantastic had died, the team was demoralized and Mister Fantastic's confidence was almost completely shattered.
Ultimately, the Fantastic Four were able to trace the Tomorrow Man to Hyperstorm's alternate future, confronting the villains directly. The Four were defeated and exiled, although this allowed them to rescue Mister Fantastic and return to confront Hyperstorm again. Doctor Doom had soon managed to free himself and tried to siphon Hyperstorm's power for himself. Instead, Doom was returned to his proper time period, and Hyperstorm revealed that he allowed all of this to transpire according to his own wishes, to the chagrin of a power-mad man such as Doom. Hyperstorm similarly sent the Four back to their time period, confident that they knew his power and would fear him.
Determined to defeat Hyperstorm, the Four set out to rescue Galactus, who was believed to have been nullified at the time, but was actually self-exiled to a dimensional void. Although Hyperstorm arrived to try to stop the ploy, Mister Fantastic was ultimately successful in reviving Galactus, who, hungry from his "resurrection," turned on Hyperstorm as a source of power to consume. The two battled, until Galactus was drawn back into the dimensional void again. Now, he's back for revenge.
Role Play Sample: Rolf had just returned from studying chimaeras in Greece. They were rather vicious creatures, yet he found them quite fascinating. To him, all magical creatures were worth a good look at. If anything, he felt that they should be protected from harm and hunting. He didn't bring along one of his pets today, though he usually did.
He was afraid of letting one of them get sick. A few of them didn't do well in cold weather and he'd set up a special place in his home in which to keep them at the correct temperature. If one thought about it in an abstract way, it was almost as if he was storing them the way others did with pantry goods. His grandfather had taught him all that he could about beasts and beings during his youth. He was saddened to find out his Grandfather had died during his first expedition in Romania.
He wished he could have been there for him at the end, the way his grandfather had always been for him. As he entered The Three Broomsticks, he was greeted by the delightful chatter of people sitting at tables and classes clinking. He hadn't had a chance to go on a trip here as a child, but he more than made up for it as an adult. He sat down at a table and ordered himself a butter-beer. He'd always loved the taste of that drink. It was almost comforting to him in an odd way. It truly made him feel like he was at home. After his drink arrived, he took out some parchment, a quill and a small pot of ink. How he managed not to spill the ink in his pocket was beyond him.
He began planning his next expedition. He fully intended to find a crumple-horned snorkack. He believed completely in their existence. It may have been because of how much Luna believed in him, but it was also partly because he wanted to find something that nobody else ever had.
He was nowhere near as famous as his grandfather was. However, that fact didn't stop him from wanting to update his grandfather's findings. So much had changed since that book had been published and the public deserved to know what was out there. He was dressed rather oddly, a bright patterned shirt over a pair of bright blue trousers. It almost looked as though he was dressed for some bizarre party and he was sure that he was getting odd stares from the other patrons. That didn't bother him. He was quite used to people thinking he was strange and he saw no reason to prove any different.
Rolf was eccentric in his own way. He believed strongly in peace, love and harmony for everything. Had he been using psychotropics, one might consider him a hippie. His hand flew across the page as he planned his trip to Sweden. Perhaps he would be able to take Luna and the children along. His two-year old twin sons were too young to appreciate a trip like that, but he couldn't see the harm in taking them anyway. He heard the sound of someone opening the door and he looked up from his parchment. He saw a man that looked relatively familiar, but he met so many people over the years that it was hard to place him.
